  • Medjugorje (3 km) - one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in this part of Europe. You can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the town and climb to the two famous mountains there. People from all over the world come here for relaxation, meditation and prayer.
  • Kravice Waterfalls (16 km) - on the Trebižat River, in the karstic heartland of Herzegovina. One of the most revered natural attractions in Bosnia & Herzegovina. The height of the waterfalls is about 25 metres and the radius of the lake 120 metres. Kravice are a popular swimming and picnic place. During the high season, there are in the vicinity several restaurants offering grill and fish specialities and a small cafe.
  • Počitelj (21 km) - nestling in the valley of the Neretva River, this national monument is one of the most beautiful cultural and historic units in Herzegovina. The fortress of Pocitelj (15th century) had a significant role in the defense during thewar against the Turks. This beautiful medieval town is marked by its Oriental-Mediterranean architecture, which is preserved in a historical heritage.
  • Old Town of Mostar (28 km) – beautiful city on the Neretva River named after “the bridge keepers” (natively: mostari) who kept the famous Old Bridge (Stari Most) over Neretva. The bridge was built during the Ottoman era and became one of the symbols of Mostar. A narrow staircase leads up to the Koski Mehmed-Pasha Mosque’s minaret for panoramic city views. Mostar is the biggest and the most important city in the Herzegovina region.
  • Blagaj and Dervish Tekija (30 km) – located on the cliffs above the spring of the Buna River, as one of the largest and most beautiful karst springs in Europe. It represents the perfect harmony of nature and Bosnian architecture. Attractions: the Old Town of Herceg Stjepan, the ruler of Herzegovina, the Green Cave - paleontological nature monument from ca. 4200 B.C., and the 600 years old Dervish Tekija (Turkish House).
  • Hutovo Blato Nature Park (38 km) - a nature bird reserve located in the South-Western part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, near Croatian board. This unusual kind of marshlands is home to over 240 types of migratory birds and dozens that make their permanent home in the sub-Mediterranean wetlands. In the migration season, tens of thousands of birds fill the Deransko Lake and its surroundings. The reserve is on the list of BirdLife International's Important Bird Areas and a member of the Network of Adriatic Parks and Wetland of international importance, under the International Ramsar Convention. Historical site, Old Fortress Hutovo Blato, is located in the area of Nature Park.
