Country house with pool and organic garden in the hidden green oasis of Central Croatia, only 5 minutes from the Kupa River.
The Country House Sablic is a century-old family house, originally built of oak in the traditional style of Pokuplje (the region around the Kupa River). In 2008 the family restored the house respecting some old and original elements and equipped it with modern technology to suit today's living style.
The eco-philosophy of the family is based on a healthy balance between human beings and nature, preserving traditional heritage.
This family-friendly holiday home offers a unique experience in nature: sleeping in an authentic wooden cottage, surrounded by pastures, woods and beautiful views of the Žumberak Highlands, preparing breakfast or barbecue evenings in the large garden, eating fresh fruits and vegetables picked from own eco organic garden, swimming in the Kupa River (1 km distance), sunbathing on its pebbly beach. And there is a wood-burning tiled stove to warm all rooms on cold days.
Great location in the countryside of Central Croatia, near Karlovac City (famous for its four rivers) and the Slovenian border. The family property Sablić is hidden in a green oasis in the middle of nature, close to the Kupa River and 12 km from the medieval Old Town of Ozalj.
The 6.000 m2 large backyard with a swimming pool (size 8 m x 4 m) and a separated spacious under-roof terrace with a view of Zumberak Highlands.
The eco-philosophy of the hosts: eco organic garden which guests can use for free (homemade products can be bought), a great way of heating a home with the wood-burning tiled stove, natural materials used in a house furnishing that give a feeling of warmness.
