Experiencing traditional meals of Istrian farms

Central Istria, every weekend in November 2025 | SATURDAY 14:00 | SUNDAY 13:00 & 16:00

From the farmer's field to the guest’s table. In the County of Istria, November marks only one thing - weekends of local traditional cuisine. The harvests are over, the grain is ready, fruits and vegetables have found their place, pickled or in marmalade, and the preparation of sausages and ombola is in full swing. Family farms worked diligently throughout the year to open their doors to all visitors in November and offer Istrian specialities at a promotional price of €25 for the menu.

During the 15th edition of the traditional gastronomic manifestation, Istria Agrotourism Open Door Days, ten agrotourism farms throughout Central Istria offer authentic traditional Istrian dishes at a promotional price. The event takes place during four weekends in November 2025: 8-9, 15-16, 22-23 and 29-30 on family-owned farms throughout the Istria peninsula in Croatia. The agritourism farms offer menus featuring homemade products alongside various experiences, such as animal visits, folklore performances, and product presentations and sales. An exotic experience or a melancholic return to childhood memories!
