The Vukovar Half Marathon is a circular road race with a total length of 21 kilometres. The race starts and finishes in the centre of Vukovar.
The Half Marathon has an AIMS certificate and is included in the Croatian Athletics Association (HAS) and the International Athletics Association (World Athletic-WA) calendar.
All healthy competitors over 18 years old can participate, and they run at their own risk. By registering for the race, the competitor confirms their good health conditions and readiness to finish the race. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The organizer may use photos taken during, immediately before, or after the race for their own needs and to promote the event. Refreshments are provided during the race and in the finish area.
All competitors will receive a starting number placed exclusively on the chest, which must be visible during the entire race.
The Vukovar Half Marathon has a time limit of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Competitors who do not finish the race or give up must contact the organizer on the phone number marked on the starting number.
Traffic will be stopped along the entire race route, and there will be a police escort in front of the first and last competitors.
Time measurement is electronic, and all competitors will receive a chip located on the starting number. The results will be published immediately after the end of the race.
As a marathon visitor or participant, you can seize this opportunity to stay longer and explore the Baranja – a picturesque wine and gastronomy region surrounded by the rivers Danube and Drava. You can discover many great hidden gems and spots in this part of Inland Croatia.
