Autumn on a Plate in Central Istria is an exciting and well-attended gastronomic event. It takes place from October 4th to 27th, 2025, in the restaurants and taverns (konoba) of Central Istria. During the mentioned period, catering providers will offer traditional meals of Central Istrian cuisine, prepared with local, seasonal ingredients. This is something you won't want to miss, especially if you are a big fan of Istrian cuisine.

The attractive special menus contain the appetiser, main course and dessert at promotional prices.
Here is the list of restaurants and taverns offering promotional menus:

  • Agroturizam Pod Čeripnjon (Village Dolinci 245, Sveti Petar u Šumi): Maneštra with trukinja (Istrian vegetable stew with corn) / Ombolo (traditional Istrian delicacy made from pork loin) in mushroom sauce with gnocchi / Pumpkin cake. Price €27. 
  • Konoba Doma (Village Kranjci 18, Sveti Petar u Šumi): Bruschetta with liver pate, toasted lard, chestnut cream – rosehip and cranberry jam / Baked gnocchi with pulled pork (shoulder) and pumpkin / Polenta dessert with grape dressing. Price €28.
  • Konoba Poli Banka (Village Bašići 44g, Tinjan):
    • MENU 1: Pumpkin soup / Turkey stuffed with cottage cheese and pancetta in a boletus and chanterelle sauce with chestnut puree / Cake served with a glass of Muscat from their cellar. Price €34.
    • MENU 2: Wild mushroom carpaccio / Mare&Monti risotto with Kvarner scampi, prawns and boletus / Cake served with a glass of Muscat from their cellar. Price €45.
  • Konoba Dišpet (Village of Zajci, Pićan): Pumpkin gnocchi with mushrooms / Chubby pig with side dish / Pancake with cottage cheese and jam. Price €27.
  • Restaurant & PizzeriaTinjanski Vijulin (Village of Tinjan): Roasted pumpkin carpaccio, apple puree, Grana Padano and pancetta sprinkle / Ravioli stuffed with boškarin (a traditional breed of Istrian cattle) and cottage cheese, roasted pumpkin sauce / Autumn glass. Price €30. (Note: 17.10-19.10. not participating in the event due to the ISAP festival in Tinjan.)
  • Konoba Marino (Village of Gračišće): Pumpkin soup / Homemade pasta with mushrooms, salad / Roasted chestnuts and homemade brandy. Price €24.
  • Tomažova Konoba (Village of Vošteni, Sveti Lovreč): Welcome aperitif / Istrian prosciutto / Soup / Veal roll with mushrooms, gnocchi side dish / Apple cake. Price €30.

The aim of the event Autumn on a Plate in Central Istria is to present the gastronomy offer of Central Istria and further integrate the Istrian family-run farms and catering providers in the post-season.
