A perfect scenery outdoors, a relaxed atmosphere, great music, chilling, excellent food and cocktails with a dose of the cultural and artistic program. These all await you on the Zagreb festival - Summer at Matos from June 28 – July 27, 2024.
The Summer at Matos festival will be held in a green oasis of the beautiful Mazuranic Square in Zagreb, next to the Croatian National Theatre and near the Zagreb main Railway Station. It is one of Zagreb’s most popular summer festivals and a favourite meeting place of all generations.
The organizers of the festival Summer at Matos have made sure that the street food offer is rich and offers something for everyone. Visitors will be able to try the most delicious burgers and pizzas, the local version of the popular Philly cheese, Mexican cuisine, chicken wings and strips, and sweets surprises. It will also offer a wide range of vegan dishes such as veggie burgers, balls and hot dogs.
And for refreshments at Summer at Matoš, you can choose from many types of beer and cocktails. For larger groups who want a different experience, there is a cocktail served in a watermelon.
For adults, there are great sets by our DJs and bands (various musical genres such as jazz, funk, rock and pop will satisfy diverse musical tastes), a gastronomic offer of the finest street food, and for kids, shows, face painting, workshops, animations and sports games in the shade.
But that is not all that Summer at Matos offers its visitors! From July 2-5, it will host the cultural and artistic program of the LADO Ensemble - National Folk Dance Ensemble of Croatia. LADO has prepared exhibitions, performances, and numerous workshops in dance, handicraft and playing traditional musical instruments, along with two premiere concerts.
